Kitchen Sinks – What Options Are There?

Whether you are remodeling, building or just upgrading your countertops one of the important items to consider including when looking into a stone countertop is the kitchen sink. There are a variety of options on the market today at different pricepoints.

Different materials common for kitchen sinks include stainless steel, cast iron, granite composite, porcelain, fireclay and copper. All of these options offer different colors, textures and durability options.

As you begin to look for a sink we recommend determining first what size/layout you would prefer for your workspace. You can have a large single basin sink, or one that offers a large bowl along with a smaller prep space (ie: 60/40 layout), or something traditional like a 50/50 or equal bowl split.
